Davos "Magic Mountain" attracts snowboarding and skiing enthusiasts from all over the world. Its high-tech mountain railways offer access to five extensive skiing areas.

Skiing areas
Davos has 38.75 km pistes covered with artificial snow. The longest run from the Weissfluhgipfel to Küblis is 12 km covering 2,034 m of difference in altitude. 75 km of prepared cross country tracks including one illuminated track for cross country skiing at night and tracks where dogs are admittede.
Ski-, Snowboard- and Cross country schools are available and courses can be booked. Also for the children Davos has a Kindergarden Skiing School with Playground.

Cross Country
Heaven for cross-country athletes of all kinds. You may be romantically inclined and use the night trail under a star lit sky or take your dog to run with you. In Davos the choices are all yours.
You will find a total of 75 km Classic and 40 km Skating of cross-country trails of vaying proficiency requirements.

Ice Sports
Davos is a Mecca for ice sports - for athletes and spectators likewise. Between Christmas and New Yeary Eve Davos turns into Europe's capital for ice hockey thanks to the famous Spengler Cup tournament.
Davos offers all different kinds of ice sports like ice skating, ice hockey, speed skating, curling or ice stick.
Davos offers an own piste for ski tour fans and other winter sports: The narrow, simply-prepared track from Strelaalp to the Strela Pass gives ski tourers the option of an easier climb. The Strela region is easy to reach from Davos Platz with the Schatzalp Funicular. A short uphill trail leads from the summit station to Strelaalp and the start of the piste.
Unprotected piste
It is essential to remember that this new offer involves an unprotected piste and the rules of ski touring must be strictly observed. Mobile telephone reception is guaranteed along the entire stretch.
